Based in America, GE Healthcare is a multinational company who focus upon new developments in health information technology (HIT). They approached the team here at Recyclers Rewarded in the need of support and assistance with their site decommission project. GE Healthcare: What We Did
GE Healthcare is a leading global medical technology and life sciences company who “provide a broad portfolio of products, solutions and services used in the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of patients and in the development and manufacture of biopharmaceuticals”.
As part of a site decommission, the Recyclers Rewarded team were asked by GE Healthcare to take a look around their site and make offers on any reusable assets which they no longer required. Most recently, we completed the removal of the catering equipment on site and are awaiting the sign-off of works to remove the steam boiler assembly and packaging lines. GE Healthcare is another large-scale operation, who have a create attitude towards reuse and recycle which is fantastic to see.
